MISSION STATEMENT
Proverbs 29:18 states, "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but, he that keepeth the law, happy is he." We should have a desire to live righteous and godly before our Lord Jesus Christ. Through continual prayer, studying and applying the Word of God, our hearts will be changed to exemplify Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:5) We endeavor to be pregnant with the Purpose of God and share in the Great Commission. (Matthew 28: 19-20.) Therefore, we will endeavor to grow and share our faith in God with the world around us. We will take seriously the scriptures, prayer and the Ministry of Jesus. We will strive to walk in unity and love with our brethren and walk humbly before God.
PURPOSE
This church shall be committed to making disciples of all people. It shall seek to attain this end through public worship of God, the preaching of the God's Word, personal evangelism, missionary work, and Christian education. "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, Jam with you always, even unto the end of the world Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20) This body of believers shall strive to exemplify Christ in daily living, minister unselfishly to persons in our community, surrounding areas, or whenever the opportunity presents itself, and respond in obedience to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. ... "Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. " (Galatians 5:16)
Statement of Faith
According to Ephesians 4:5-6, we believe in "One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." We also believe that any act of immorality such as same sex marriage and homosexuality is unacceptable, according to God's Word. (Genesis 1:18-25; II Timothy 3:1-3)
